Lovely friendly service from Ollie who had a look at my flute and made it playable after I’d messed around trying to make adjustments myself. He also very kindly lend me a flute head joint to try out - thanks so much Ollie!

The standard of the service is superb and the sax is playing very well. I'll be back later in the summer for some more work on the clarinet. Highly recommended,- Positive

I was recommended Oliver and I am very glad that I was. Oliver has done excellent repair work on my vintage Pennsylvania Special Tenor sax. He really cares on the outcome of his repair work, and explains what had to be done to get your instrument back into working order. I have Baritone sax that needs looking at and I will be taking it to Oliver. I can without any hesitation recommend Oliver for your instrument care.

Oliver fixed a key on my buffet RC clarinet and did a huge service and pad replacement too. Played with an orchestra today and it played really nicely. Oliver is a lovely human and an excellent woodwind repair person. Can't recommend enough.

Yes Liz! I knew you'd smash it. Thank you for entrusting me with such an insanly valuable instrument! Like I say, if you have any issues (no matter how minor) pop It round and we can give it a tweek, no charge.
Oliver completed a fantastic job on my pair of Buffet R13 clarinets. They play beautifully now. Would definitely recommend his work. I’m hoping he can turn my Conn Crossbar Baritone saxophone into a great playing horn even though it’s had a very hard life with numerous dents and knocks. I’m sure this will be no problem for him !

I had taken my flute to a different place for an overhaul, but it came back with more problems than it had before. I then took it to Oly who was able to identify and fix the issues right away and got my flute working again in no time at all. He was super helpful, and showed me a few maintenance tips as well. Highly recommended!

I came across Ollie’s work when I bought a tenor from him – it was so well set-up that I asked him who’d done it and when he said he had, I asked if he could set up my other instruments. So recently I had him set up ‘Miyagi’ - my battered old Yam 23 alto - and it came back great. Very playable. I will be using Ollie in future, and can recommend him.

It was really great of you to offer me this work even though you're based up in Middlesborough and I'm in Leeds! The courier I use (APC OVERNIGHT) are super cheap & reliable, which helps I guess! As I say, any little tweeks it may need in the coming months I'm. Happy to do for free. Its a top machine that! Much obliged Oly
Ollie has serviced a couple of my instruments and got to the bottom of some deep-rooted issues that needed tackling. He plays himself, therefore having a sound knowledge of what's right and wrong with the mechanics and action of the instruments. I highly rate his expertise and recommend him.

I would just like to send you a message to say thank you for such a beautiful instrument.
I've been learning clarinet for about two years now with the local band in Tenbury (Tenbury Town Band) - for the past year it has been through virtual lessons rather than actually meeting up - I'm really hoping the band can get back together soon, up till now I've been borrowing one of the bands Buffet clarinets and been using my own Yamaha 5C mouthpiece.
I decided to get my own and looked at Yamaha's as I already have a Yamaha guitar and also a Yamaha mouthpiece.
This 26ii clarinet is amazing. It's so much lighter and far easier to hit the high notes than the Buffet, it also sounds so much more better. It also looks really well looked after.

Oly carried out a great job on my old battered tenor. He repadded it and set it up really well, joy to play now instead of a fight. Highly recommended. Excellent work and very friendly, accommodating service.

Oly came to see me in my home, and proceeded to adjust all four of my saxophones (one fairly old, the others newer) to make them all play beautifully. He also gets the job done fairly quickly - I would have expected him to complete one in the time it took him to do four! I could not recommend this man highly enough 🙂

Oly has fixed my clarinet and my sax and did an excellent job of both. After some disappointing experiences trying to get them fixed elsewhere i was happy with the job oly did and they are now playing like a dream!

Oly is a skilled artisan very much deserving of the patronage of the saxophonists of West Yorkshire and beyond. He took a squeaky student horn and had it singing like a Ella Fitzgerald in her prime. 10/10, would send Oly an entirely unsolicited critique of global capitalism via Amazon again.
